In the phrase "tout ce qu'il nous faut" which apparantly means "all we need to do--" makes sense because "we" = nous. But, the phrase for " all I need to do" is "tout ce qu'il ma faut" ( spelling? ) . Why not use "je" for "I"? And then how would you say " all he needs to do" ? Thanks.

"Tout ce qu'il nous faut" means, "all that we need" or "the only thing that we need". The "nous" is an indirect-object pronoun, not a subject. "all that I need" = "tout ce qu'il me faut". "me" is the indirect-object pronoun.
If you want to say "all we need to do" you must say "tout ce que nous avons à faire". Here, "nous" is a subject. Hence, "all he needs to do" = "all he has to do". "all I need to do" = "tout ce que j'ai à faire".
